Mirtec the Industry Leader

Mirtec Europe announced it had grown by some 200% during 2010, the success is mirrored by similar powerful growth from the Asian and American divisions. The main reason for the continued global successes during such economically testing times is that Mirtec has a clear technology advantage over the competition due to the fact that the R&D group which numbers almost seventy engineers, is in fact larger than many of the competitors total workforce. It is not surprising that year after year Mirtec are awarded prestigious industry awards for its innovative new technologies.
Some of the firsts attributed to Mirtec include multi angle programmable lighting, intuitive laser scanning for benchtop and inline systems, Colour recognition, angled cameras and the list goes on. One very exciting development for Mirtec is the ISIS programmable camera system which sees Mirtec launch the first 10 and 15 mega pixel cameras into the inspection market.
This new technological leap is probably the biggest advantage they have ever offered their customers as the field of view allows inspection speeds to drop to fractions of those currently available. As an example at exhibitions around the world Mirtec have shown two systems of identical specification running the same high demand pcb through testing, the typical industry standard 5Mpx system took 28 seconds to inspect the board using 5 angled cameras, the 15Mpx system did it just as accurately in an amazing 4.8 seconds. So again another inspection roadblock “Inspection speed” is smashed by the ingenuity and creativity on offer from Mirtec.
